Long Lost Cousin Cristina... haven't seen her in years, maybe a decade. She's been holed up in Brooklyn. I've been to NY a couple dozen times or something in the last few years, and have never run into her. She's been in the shop, and appears in some photos, but I had no contact info. Facebook works. We ate breakfast at a spot called Brown in the LES. Pretty good, comfortable, and easy. She's a political one, and gets in and out of trouble. Confrontation is her game. Hope she doesn't mind being blogged.

Then afterwards, Beef Jerky time (and Doughnut Plant)

Spicy Pork is the only way to go.

Honey-sweet beef jerky ("Bak Quah" in Singapore) is rawketh, IMHO. munching on some now - leftover Chinese New Year-goodness ;p
