3rd Street Santa Monica

I went to the Third Street Promenade tonight. Except for wanting those two hours back since the place blows, it's definitely recessed. Aren't Saturday nights at 9pm supposed to be busy? I walked the entire length and around the areas and yes, it's much less congested. Luckily, I jumped into the Apple store and streamed the Pacquiao fight, and watched just a bit of it, enough to see the end. The worst part is that, there are street performers. Next to the little rocker kid who plays guitar and sings, is a guy who's preaching about God. It's an open mic for anyone to debate this person. The problem isn't the guy, he's there to fuck with everyone, the part that blew was when he debated a kid who was pro evolution, the God guy said, "God created the heavens and the Earth" the entire crowd of maybe 50+, cheered and whistled. I have an open mind for people who want to debate, but fuck that crowd and fuck 3rd Street Promenade. Why is that guy even preaching there when almost everyone is already converted.

did you see the fortune telling cat? its all dressed up in black starry garb. i don't know if it talks, but i hope it gives out better fortunes than "You will soon explore your feminine side."

issue no. 1 is amazing, by the way. i keep telling everyone about how some sumo wrestlers get silcone implanted in their heads to make them taller, even 6 inches taller! trippin.

3rd Street does bite but Sundays near the pier is the Arlington West Memorial - a solemn reminder of the human cost of war. You can find the name of Paul T. Nakamura of Santa Fe Springs, CA. as well as many others.

Let's hope this list stops sooner than later.

3rd street is pretty boring. The only places we go to are the Apple store, DWR and Hennessey Ingalls. DWR and Hennessey are not on 3rd but around the corners at either end. Hennessey is the best bookstore around for design and art related books, I think they carry GR too.

At least the Promenade is pulling in tourists, cause the 50+ cheering could not have been West side San Mo types, had to be out of towners.

You really like watching grown men fight? Never understood that myself...
