Konrad Ng, Barack's brother in law video message
Konrad Ng, the brother in law of Barack Obama created a youtube message. Here it is. Konrad wrote about his experiences at the DNC for Giant Robot issue 56. He's a good guy, I met him recently in Hawaii. If you don't know him, no worries, he's a professor at the University of Hawaii. When I met him, I figured he was going to spout off about Obama, but no, he was chill and only talked about it a little when others talked to him about it, and even then he was simple with his words and didn't go nuts.

cool, I need to go post that on my blog, too...
It's awesome that GR was the only magazine to interview Konrad Ng. So great that he's a long-time reader and supporter of GR. But I think Obama's campaign downplayed Maya somewhat and their connections to Indonesia because of Muslim-phobia, and also bringing in the Asians (Maya and Konrad) may have made the race/ethnicity issue even more complicated...
