Donger online at NPR All Things Considered...

The story of Donger surfaces once again. It's been decades, but even now it sort of affects us. It's nearly gone, and most people you ask, if they're young have no idea who he is and what the film is about. There's already two generations of teenager movies which have come and gone, but this one still hits below the belt. The weird thing is that John Hughes should get the finger, not just Gedde. Thanks Alison MacAdam for helping us relive it one more time! The audio won't be up until later today. I'll add the link later.

If you want to see the link. Then go here.

I was worried I was going to miss it and have to catch it streaming later. But, it happened to start playing on my local NPR affiliate just as I returned to my office from our lab.

They just ran a puff piece on Hughes, all about how he's a god, Apatow says he owes it all to him, etc. They left out any references to cruel depictions.

oh well, they fixed the recording. I guess they had our wrong names in certain places. Also evidently the blog portion has a letter by the woman "sexy girlfriend"...
