LA Weekly

Vinyl toy article. We get some props in it. I remember those days of the Michael Lau toys. We were just getting the webstore running well, and Michael wanted us to introduce his toys to America. We were definitely first. Thanks Gendy Alimurung. It's linked here.

Really? Which toy? Cause I have been visiting the GR site since 6 or 7 years ago and I don't remember any Michael Lau stuff. I do remember first seeing those DOMO toys in the GR webstore

Man, I remember when you first started featuring them in the magazine. I don't remember what issue it was off the top of my head. But, that seems like a lifetime ago now!

I like how they GR was started by the two Erics, Eric Nakamura and "Eric" Wong. At least in the print edition of the Weekly.

Oh my. Issue 18, and we sold the toys before the stores existed. That's why we know we're first.
