Being in the midwest which isn't known for it's great veggies, I had to have a steak. So the spot to check out isLindy's steak house. It's a well known for it's steaks and nothing else. The menu is simple. Just three types, and it comes with a iceberg lettuce salad although the dressing is 1000 island and actually something I like but don't eat, potatoes (like hash), sweet pickled watermelon rind to cleanse the palette after a steak bite.




This is the Lindy's special steak. That's a serving for 3. Mine is the one in the foreground, a bloody mess but quite great. It looks small, but in the end, it's the right amount.
